Handmade, luxuriously soft, finest quality kid mohair throw finished with Merino wool slubby tassels. Created by women in the rural areas of the Eastern Cape, South Africa. Making these incredible throws supports their families and helps to fund further education for their children. Handmade, beautifully fluffy hand brushed Mohair, sumptuously soft, lightweight and warm. 

Please note : these throws have a very high percentage of Mohair, and have been highly brushed, to create the fabulous floaty feeling, so there will be some initial shedding of fibres. The Mohair comes from Angora goats that roam on the wide open plains of the dry Karoo in South Africa. the goats are shorn twice a year and are not harmed in any way in the process. Due to the soft loosely knitted handmade nature of these throws they are at times a little out of square.

Composition: 95% Mohair 5% Merino Wool

Care: Hand wash: Use a gentle wool approved detergent and tepid water, gently agitate by hand to dislodge any dirt particles. Rinse in clean, cool water. Do not wring, simply squeeze the water out and allow to dry naturally. Do Not tumble dry.
